Quick Search is a Tango search tool used to quickly find Equipment, Location, Aliases and Repairs. The default search option of the Quick Search is set to All Equipment.


Change the search options:

1.) Click the Quick Search Filter button in the upper right hand corner.

2.) Select the type search you want performed, such as Location, Alias, Linked Documents, Repairs, etc.

3.) Click "Find"


A search may be narrowed to find a particular piece of Equipment or a certain level of the Tree Structure.

1.) Click the search heading, which opens the folder to allow additional options.

2.) Click the specific search item.

3.) Enter the Plant Tag, Loc. Name, Alias Value, Linked Doc, Work Order #, or Repair.

4.) Click "Find".


If a search does not return the results that you wish, use a part of the text with asterisks before and after the text (search for hoist motor = *hoist motor*). By adding an asterisk between words, addition matches may be found (search for east motor = *east*motor*).


Once results have been achieved, functions such as Asset Component Options can be performed by right clicking on a result. The results can be viewed in the left-hand side of the screen.
