This
section demonstrates how to assign 'Task Locations'
to a 'Condition Assessment' task. Task
assignments advise the analyst what equipment is to be
monitored in the execution of a task. There are two ways to assign
locations to a task.
Both methods are demonstrated below. |
|
Method 1: Locations may be added at
Unit, Function & Asset levels in
the Location Tree. Utilizing this method of
selecting locations, allows the user to only add
locations beneath the selected locations. |
|
 |
|
1) Expand the tree to the target asset then 'Right Click' on
the asset.
2) In the drop down box, choose 'Select Locations for
Condition Assessment Task' .
3) Select the 'Task Definitions & Location
Selection' tab in the 'Condition Assessment Tasks' box on
right hand work space.
4) Click on the
icon on the left side of the screen by the applicable task in
'Task Name' column.
5) Select the appropriate routes for the assigned
task in the
'Task Location Selection' screen. |

Method
2: (not recommended): This approach to add
plant locations to a task is not recommended because all
assets and asset components are displayed. For a
larger plant, this may be time consuming. |
|
1) In the Tango Location Tree
in the left hand workspace, locate 'Services'
and click the
to
expand that item.
a) Locate 'Condition Assessment
Services' and click
to expand
that item (Same as Step 1 in Condition Assessment Task
Management).
b) Double click on Condition
Assessment Task Control Panel'. |
|
 |
|
2) On the
'Condition Assessment Tasks' screen, click the
'Task Definitions & Location Selection' tab.
3) To define which Tango asset
component locations are being covered by a specific
task:
a) Click on the
icon on
the left side of the screen by the applicable item in
the 'Task Name' column. |
|
 |
|
b) Click in the box next to the
applicable location(s) to select that/those location(s).
c) After all selections are
complete, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click
'Save' . |
