Tango Condition Management

Condition Management Video

This video explains how Tango's Condition Management is used to standardize and integrate condition entries from multiple predictive maintenance technologies into a single database.  A single report provides a list of the condition entries so they may be used to access which areas in the plant need work.

At most industrial plants each condition monitoring technology is a stand-alone data island.  Tango is the bridge that connects all of these data islands to a common interface for plant users.  Tango provides the one place for any plant user can go to view condition results and the health status of their equipment.

Tango is a reliability information management system designed toe enhance the communication, focus, and accountability of condition information inside the plant.  Each condition technology used in the plant has its own data and analysis tools that allow a trained analyst to understand a machine's condition.  The technical gap is in communicating what the analyst knows about a machine problem along with what other analysts using other technologies know about problems on that same machine.

Benefits:

  • Standardization and integration of all plant equipment condition status information
  • Communication and focus on the plants most critical equipment problems
  • Accountability for results - good condition data is not enough the plant must be accountable for achieving condition based maintenance results
  • Equipment health performance measurements - the plant needs to know current performance and get targets for the future that can be measured.
